On 25th November, 10:00 – 15:00 CET a workshop on “Integration of chemicals risk management into Environmental Management Systems and Standards” will be organized jointly by the LIFE Fit for REACH and the INTERREG NonHazCity projects.
In our projects NonHazCity (INTERREG) and Fit for REACH (LIFE) we often came to the conclusion that interlinking chemicals risk management and Environmental Management Systems & Standards is a good approach to anchor chemicals risk management better in companies.
We started to elaborate a guidance document based on the frame of the ISO 14002 series which we would like to contribute to the current work of the ISO 14002 group and to the discussion on the EMS further development.
And we would like to discuss the issue with you – experts on environmental management systems as well as on chemicals risk management – in an interactive but virtual workshop on 25th November (10:00 – 15:00 CET).
A few of you already participated in our previous conferences where we tackled this important issue – this workshop here is a continuation and a trial to get a wider audience involved.
Please register to the event here. Registration is open until November 20th.
After registration you will receive the link to the online event and, a week prior to the event, a draft of our guidance document – as a proposal and background for discussion.
We are looking forward to your participation in this very interesting event!
